SNOQUALAMIE PASS, Washington  — The Summit at Snoqualmie has named Seattle-based Brown Bear Car Wash as an official partner to The Summit Learning Center.

The Summit Learning Center is owned and operated by The Summit at Snoqualmie. Through this newly formed relationship, guests at the Alpental Ski Area will be greeted by the addition of Brown Bear Village, a fun and interactive on-hill area aimed at children’s ski school participants.

“The Summit Learning Center is extremely excited to align ourselves with such a community-minded, environmentally-friendly company that will help to really amp up our children’s ski school area at Alpental,” said Dave Beckwith, snowsports director at The Summit at Snoqualmie.

“Brown Bear Car Wash is thrilled to support the Brown Bear Village concept at The Summit and is proud to be partnered with a company that is like-minded in environmental awareness,” added Lance Odermat, vice president, general counsel for Car Wash Enterprises.

Brown Bear Car Wash, which began with a solo Seattle facility in 1957, has since expanded to 44 car washes throughout Washington. The family-owned business is committed to providing environmentally sound car washing services.

The Summit currently has several environmental programs in effect, from recycling post-consumer waste to water conservation and financial support for environmental non-profits. For a full list of Summit environmental efforts, visit www.summitatsnoqualmie.com/info/winter/environment.asp.
